A strange man is seen lurking around the opera house, but all attempts to apprehend him rehearsals are frought with mishaps leading some to believe the production is cursed. When a large sum of money is stolen and a guard seriously injured, the stranger is blamed/5(4).

The chapters are short, some as only a few pages, making the easy to read. Moreover, there’s plenty of dialogue. Told in Tom’s and Karen’s viewpoints, this element helps keep the intrigue going.
